This Philippines issue over lead lipstick can either have POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE effects in our economy.
POSITIVE EFFECTS:
For me, the positive effects of this issue about this lead lipstick in the Philippines are; people in our country will now avoid buying lipstick that can help them save some money if they don't buy it. Also, if they avoid using lipstick, the natural beauty of every Filipino women will be truly seen because I believe that true beauty is like not wearing any make-up at all. If Filipino women will truly avoid buying or using lipstick, they can avoid the root cause of loosing the natural complexion of their lips because many studies says that lipsticks have chemical contents that are not suitable for our lips for some reasons. The overall positive impact of lipsticks in our economy is that there's really a demand for lipsticks in the feminine world and even in the third-sex communities such as gays and transgenders. And even if the price would go much higher that its ordinary price, the demand never decreases.
NEGATIVE EFFECTS:
While on the other side, the negative effects of the Philippines issue about this lead lipstick are; the companies which are selling different brand of lipsticks will have the possibility to be closed because there is a possibility that people will not buy any brand or any kind of lipstick because of the issues. Also, if the demand of lipsticks will decrease, there is a very big possibility that the price of the lipsticks will increase and lesser amount of people will buy it. Regular using of lipstick also can also loose the natural complexion of our lips because of the different chemicals that can be found into it. Some people also says that not using lipstick can be more less attractive in the eyes of the other people around us. If there's a financial crisis because of this issue, every cosmetic companies will be forced to increase there prices especially during recession and depression, monetary units of the different countries which are involve in this crisis would inflate, therefore, the flow of productivity in our country will fall down.
SUGGESTIONS/RECOMMENDATION:
In order to avoid the negative effects about this lead lipstick issue in our country, people should still buy and use lipstick products in order to help our economy and other companies to maintain its good stability. People should still use lipstick but not very often, they should just use lipstick during any special events or occasion that they are going to in order to avoid the bad effects of it in our own natural lips.
